Assembuild Group is an online-led building products merchant and distributor. The Group supplies a range of specialist building products including drainage, guttering, fixtures & fittings and specialist cables, primarily targeting the professional installer market through a multi-channel business model encompassing online, trade counters and wholesalers.
Assembuild Group was formed through the cornerstone acquisition of Professional Building Supplies Limited, an online-led merchant, and the simultaneous bolt-on of Securi-Flex Limited, a specialist distributor. The deal gave the previous shareholders an opportunity to realise value, and to step back from day-to-day management responsibilities, whilst retaining some equity and strategic involvement in their respective businesses. On completion a Group Management team was formed combining incoming sector experts, with existing staff from the two businesses.
